WOMEN'S QUALIFIER POSTPONEMENT

The ICC today announced the postponement of upcoming Women’s World Cup Qualifier event, scheduled to be staged in Lahore, Pakistan from 19 – 25 November 2007. The decision was arrived at following independent security reports and extensive discussions by ICC management and the ICC Women’s Committee. A decision on where and when the tournament will be played will be taken in due course.

UAE VS. BERMUDA PREVIEW

United Arab Emirates (UAE) goes head-to-head with Bermuda in the ICC Intercontinental Cup in Abu Dhabi from Thursday with one eye on this month’s ICC World Cricket League division 2. Besides UAE, Argentina, Uganda, Denmark, Oman and Namibia will take part in the WCL Div.2 that will be staged in Windhoek, Namibia from 24 November to 1 December.

LIONEL CANN BANNED
